Mike, I am curious as to how you managed to sink 3K on mechanicals on an 
Imp.  You did not rebuild the engine, right?  Even if you had to redo the 
trany, that's only $500-600!  Even the brakes.  Even if you had to replace 
all your calipers, that wouldn't have cost more that $300-$400.  WHat did 
you do in the suspension?  When a few years back I replaced all the front 
bushings on GM, I spend $200 in parts and $100 for labor to a friend that 
helped me.  I could have spend #500 on labor if I had asked a shop to do 
it, but it still does not quite add up to 3K!
